Hi, I'm Mariam.

I founded Quickee.com, Sri Lanka's first on-demand mixed model of hyperlocal delivery, online store and last-mile service, open until 3AM, 365 days a year. It was acquired by Expolanka Holdings.

Building it taught me that businesses rarely struggle because of the product. They struggle because of people: who you hire, how leaders work together, and the culture that forms whether you manage it or not. That led me to an MSc in Organisational Psychology.

Today, through HRight Consulting, I help growing businesses and family firms hire well, lead well and work well together. And because I remember being an early founder with no budget for help, every business I work with funds a free programme for five startups.
